Joel G. Crowell, President of Cape Cod Cooperative Bank, is pleased to announce that the Bank is providing office space to the Cape Cod Young Professionals in the Hyannis Branch office located in Independence Park.
“We are pleased to be able to support this organization by offering much needed office space,” said Mr. Crowell. “This proactive group of local young people realize the need to engage their peers to encourage community leadership and support. We are proud to support them in their mission.”
The Cape Cod Young Professionals organization (CCYP), “An Idea Who’s Time Has Come” is made up of local entrepreneurs and professionals who live and work on Cape Cod and have formed a vibrant, fun group dedicated to connecting with, engaging and advocating for the next generation of business and community leaders.
Their mission is to serve the developing workforce of our region; be it business leaders, civic workers, new residents, education and healthcare professionals, homemakers, or small business owners, the CCYP offers something for everyone and welcomes all.
Gary Sheehan, President & CEO of Cape Medical Supply based in Sandwich, Massachusetts, a provider of home medical equipment and respiratory care with additional locations in Falmouth and Plymouth, in his role as co-founder and co-president of the CCYP, said: “Cape Cod Cooperative Bank has been tremendously supportive of the CCYP, dating back to their sponsorship of our initial event in November of 2005.
Their latest donation of office space allows us to continue our good work in the community and demonstrates a keen understanding of the challenges facing our economy and the plight of young people in the region. We look forward to continuing to work with Cape Cod Cooperative Bank to attract and retain young people in the region and cannot thank them enough for this substantial donation of space and resources; in this they are demonstrating the best qualities of local businesses and the potential of our community to address our critical needs so that we can continue to work toward our goals.”
