Peter Q. Smith reelected president of Yarmouth chamber

Joel G. Crowell, President of Cape Cod Cooperative Bank, is pleased to announce that Peter Q. Smith, Vice President of Commercial Lending has been re-elected as President of the Yarmouth Area Chamber of Commerce for the second year. “We are proud of the contribution Peter Q. Smith has made to the community we serve,” said Mr. Crowell. “His strong commitment to business owners right here on the Cape is evident every day in the service he provides to our customers.”

Mr. Smith has been employed at Cape Cod Cooperative Bank since 2003 in the Commercial Lending Department and is a familiar face in the community. Peter is a Board Member of the Holy Cross Alumni Association of Cape Cod; a Board Member of the Yarmouth New Church Preservation Foundation; a Member of the Loan Committee of SEED, Taunton (Non-profit Community Development Company) and Chair of the Loan Committee of Coastal Community Capital (Non-profit Community Development Company), Centerville.

Peter is a resident of Yarmouth Port where he lives with his wife, Judy Price Smith a staff accountant and their two sons. Quinn is a junior at University of Massachusetts, Dartmouth and Kelley is a staff member with Barack Obama for Change.
