Sea Watch Realty sells Bourne Counting House for $3.6 M

Sea Watch Realty, one of southeastern Massachusetts leading full-service commercial real estate firms has brokered the sale of the 18,000 square foot building, located at One Merrill’s Wharf, New Bedford, MA, on October 28, 2008 for $3,600,000.00.

Rick Barnes of Sea Watch Realty was the listing broker and selling broker for the property. The Seller was Whelan Associates, LLC. The Buyer, ZC Trust was completing a 1031 with the acquisition . The Bourne Counting House is located on the waterfront in the historic Merrill’s Wharf area of downtown New Bedford. Whelan Associates beautifully renovated and restored the stone façade structure into the first class office building that is 100% leased.
