Cape Cod Broadcasting Launches "Sunday Journal" Podcast Series

     CAPE COD BROADCASTING LAUNCHES “SUNDAY JOURNAL” PODCAST SERIES
               Featuring Local Issues That Are Important To Cape Codders

HYANNIS, MA – October 15, 2008 - Cape Cod Broadcasting announces the launch of Sunday Journal podcast series, expanding the reach of its award-winning news and public affairs program.

First broadcast in 1970, Sunday Journal features an all-inclusive forum for issues important to the Cape Cod community. Each week, the NewsCenter team conducts up to four long form interviews with community leaders. Podcast segments of the Sunday Journal are available each week following the actual air-date.

Gregory D. Bone, General Partner of Cape Cod Broadcasting, says the significance of the Sunday Journal podcast series is, “Now, where ever you are, Cape Codders can connect to this special place we call home with a variety of listening options.”

1. On-air: Tune in each Sunday morning to hear the Sunday Journal broadcast on radio stations WQRC 99.9, Ocean 104.7, WFCC Classical 107.5, and WKPE 103.9.
2. On-line Streaming: During the on-air broadcast, listeners can visit the station website and click on Listen Live to hear the Sunday Journal from a computer.
3. On-demand Podcast: Visit the home page of any Cape Cod Broadcasting’s websites from http://www.capecodbroadcasting.com to display the podcast application widget. Scroll through the segments for the topic of interest and click on the blue play button. Once the file has completed downloading, the segment will automatically play and the user can pause, mute, fast forward or rewind the file.
4. On-demand MP3 download: From the podcast widget, click on the Sunday Journal podcast segment description. A pop-up window will display asking where to save the file. If “open” is chosen instead, the user’s computer-based MP3 player will launch and the file will play.
5. RSS Feed: A site visitor that uses a 3rd party RSS reader or web-based podcatcher (such as iTunes or MyYahoo!) can subscribe to the Sunday Journal podcast to be automatically notified when a new episode is available: http://podcasting.capecodbroadcasting.com/xml.php?feed_id=919
