Diane Perkins Joins Cape Cod Cooperative Bank as Retail Banking and Sales Manager

HYANNIS, MASSACHUSETTS, September 3 , 2008… Joel G. Crowell, President of Cape Cod Cooperative Bank, is pleased to announce that Diane G. Perkins has joined the company as Retail Banking and Sales Manager and Senior Vice President. “We are very pleased to welcome Diane to Cape Cod Cooperative Bank. Diane’s banking career spans more than 30 years during which she has excelled as a professional and a leader. Her new role will build on her extensive experience in sales management, development of training programs, and product management,” said Mr. Crowell. “Her strong commitment to excellent customer service and emphasis on community will benefit our customers directly every day.”

Most recently, Ms. Perkins worked here in southeastern Massachusetts as a Mortgage Loan Officer and Regional Manager of Retail Banking for Eastern Bank. Diane was employed as Vice President of Retail Banking, managing 9 offices in southeastern Massachusetts for Plymouth Savings Bank when it was acquired by Eastern Bank. Diane’s employment with Plymouth Savings Bank began in 1977 where she served in a variety of positions including Branch Manager, Assistant Branch Manager and Retail Banker.

Ms. Perkins has graduated from the National School of Banking at Fairfield University in Connecticut, the Massachusetts School for Financial Studies/MA Bankers Association and The College for Financial Planning in Denver, Colorado.

Diane is a long time member of the Cape Cod Canal Regional Chamber of Commerce and a past chair and active member of the Tobey Hospital Business Council. Diane is a past president of the Business & Professional Women’s Club and former winner of the Sam Walton Business Leader Award.

Diane lives with her husband John who shares her appreciation for fishing and relaxing on the water. Diane also loves to garden and both she and her husband enjoy spending time with their grown daughter and their 3 beautiful granddaughters.
