Clean Energy Project Coordinator
Job Description
Cape and Islands Self-Reliance seeks a qualified professional to implement and manage a regional clean energy workforce training program. The goal of project is to provide comprehensive training to Cape Cod’s building trade industry in the areas of solar technologies and technologies and materials involving energy efficiency, conservation and energy auditing.
Minimum Requirements:
· Bachelors Degree in Environmental Studies, Resource Economics, Sustainable Development, Communications or related field. Masters preferred.
· 5 years work experience in sustainable development, renewable energy, sustainability, workforce development, economic development or related field.
Ideal candidate will:
· have basic knowledge of a variety of renewable energy, energy efficiency and green building technologies;
· be an excellent communicator, both written and oral;
· be well-organized, self-motivated and a team player;
· be an experienced project manager;
· have experience developing and maintaining multi-partner collaborations;
· be computer literate and skilled at using ms office applications including database management;
· web publishing and graphics program experience a plus;
· have experience organizing workshops and events;
· develop and oversee implementation of all grant-related training and career development activities;
Duties will include, but are not limited to:
· market training program to building trades businesses and other targeted populations;
· cultivate relationships with building trade employers and employees and recruit participants into the training program;
· act as the primary liaison between all project partners, trainees and instructors;
· convene, facilitate, and engage the program’s implementation team on a regular basis;
· maintain contact and open communication with all project partners;
· organize and implement all grant-related training components;
· work closely with data entry coordinator to coordinate all grant-related project tracking and documentation as required by grantor and fiscal manager;
· develop clear process and expectations of partners for reporting project data and information;

This is a grant-funded salaried position with benefits for one year with the possibility of continuation for up to three years.
